Jim Gillespie is a painter who loves to wear his heart on his sleeve. Many of Jim’s paintings include his artistic interpretation of his sweetheart, Irene. The Ohio University Student Alumni Board is sponsoring a canned food drive to benefit The Athens Food Pantry. Help Passion Works win for most cans collected by bringing in a can (or a case of cans!) to our artfully decorated collection box which will be located inside our uptown studio at 20 East State Street. Cans may be dropped off October 8th – 14th from 9-6 during the week and on Saturday 10-5.

The Athens Uptown Business Association, a division of the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a “Trick or Treat” for area youngsters. The event will be held on Monday, October 25, 6:00-7 pm. Be sure to visit all the uptown businesses - we look forward to “treating” you at Passion Works!
