Alexis Rhinehart is a seasoned Passion Works Studio Artist who brings her quiet grace to the studio whenever she comes through the door. Alexis’ art carries strong themes from the 1959-1972 Motown Era. She is well versed in the stories behind Motown musicians, song writers and production giants and delights in amazing fans with her knowledge of important dates and names from that period. Alexis has a special love for one of Motown’s most important figures, Smokey Robinson. Alexis has met Smokey and holds on to the memory with a true reverence. Her factual and imaginative stories of Smokey adorn countless collaborative paintings and sculptural pieces, lending beautiful texture and whimsical verse to the art she touches. Her artistic talent and good humor are staples we’ve come to rely on at Passion Works Studio. Congratulations, Alexis and thank you for your significant contributions to Passion Works Studio!

It Could be Entertaining
It Could be Entertaining, a collection of colorful art quilts designed, painted and embroidered by Passion Works Artists, is on display through November at the Athens Public Library. Join us in an opening reception on Tuesday, November 2nd from 5:30-7pm. Athens Public Library is located at 30 Home Street, Athens, OH.
Colorful Neighborhood, The Bat Cave, Kitty Kissing Butterfly and Jumbo Passion Flowers are a few of the pieces on display now through the end of November at Donkey Coffee and Espresso. Join us on Saturday, November 6 from 8-10pm for Familiar and Fantastic! an opening reception that celebrates new artworks, readings of poetry written by Passion Works Artists and music by Bruce Dalzell, Laura Nadeau and Chris Biester. Donkey Coffee, touted as “Best Coffeehouse in Ohio” by Ohio Magazine, is located at 17 ½ West Washington St. Athens, OH.
