 Andy Holley is Passion Works Studio’s featured artist for the month of November. Andy spends his time in the studio bringing to life pop culture icons through his use of vibrant colors and creative imagination. A diehard fan of wrestling, Andy captures wrestlers and other sports figures in his fun and unique works. Andy also likes to craft artistic images of Hannah Montana.

 Mayor, Monks & Muffins, a installation by Passion Works Artists will be on display throughout November at Casa Nueva Restaurant in Athens. Many new pieces have been created for this show and you have the opportunity to view our new framed prints. The prints were created during the 2005 residency of the Tibetan monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery as part of their North American Sacred Art Tour. We hope you can join us at the opening reception on Tuesday, November 11th from 3-4:30pm

 Visit Passion Works at Booths 900 & 902 at the 31st Annual Winterfair at the Ohio State Fairgrounds Dec. 4-7. More than 450 artists and 20 gourmet food vendors from across the country will offer a variety of high quality art pieces and delicious food choices. Come see what’s new at Passion Works in 2008 and enjoy our traditional year-round items as well. Admission for the entire day is $7, children 12 and under are free.

 Passion Works hosted its 2nd Annual Fine Art Sale on Saturday Oct. 11. Many art lovers came out to the sale to purchase artwork by a wide variety of the studio’s featured artists. While some were shopping early for the holiday season, others took home creative pieces for themselves. A big thank you goes out to Humana MarketPoint for generously providing refreshments for the event. Many volunteers devoted time preparing for the sale and helping the day of the event including Sandy Seeley and Sky Cone. A special thank you goes out to Sarah Logar, the studio’s Public Relations intern, who did a fantastic job coordinating the sale.
For those who were unable to attend, there are still many pieces of creative artwork available. Stop by the studio store, which is located just off Stimson Ave. at 21 South Campbell Street, Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm or Saturday from 11am-5pm. Keep Passion Works in mind for the biggest shopping day of the year, as the studio will be open the day after Thanksgiving. |
