 Jason Douglas is the Passion Works Studio Featured Artist for the month of June. Jason is known for his drawings of bugs, people, commercial products and holidays. Jason remembers dates of old movie releases and birthdays and can quickly match and label information to correspond with the images he has drawn. He is a fast worker with an ability to detail art at super speed. Jason also loves to wear t-shirts (featuring soda logos) with the soda that he happens to be drinking at the time.

The Sun, The Moon and Mother Earth along with other new works of art will be on display at Stuart’s Opera House in Nelsonville as part of their Final Friday celebration. These 8’-10’ sculptures were created during a recent Ohio Arts Council sponsored residency with Visiting Artist Kate Gorman. The pieces can be viewed on Friday, June 30th from 6-10 p.m. and will remain on display through July.
