Kai Wilhere is the Featured Artist for the Month of November!

Kai comes to Passion Works Studio with a real passion to create and share. Her art is drenched in soft color and reflects her interest in, and experience with international culture. Japan and Germany in particular, figure strongly into Kai’s artistic expression as well as Victorian and Gothic Lolita fashion. Kai works in all media and has a special love of fine papers and unusual fabrics. She sews wearable art, from costume to couture; she fashions fanciful jewelry; she shares a signature style working with paints and assemblage art pieces. This month, Kai is acting as Artistic Assistant to our Visiting Artist, Migiwa Orimo (see more about Migiwa’s residency below). We are thrilled to have Kai with us at Passion Works. In a short time, Kai has become a good friend and a true asset in our artistic ventures! Thank you Kai! We are so grateful for your strong contribution!
