Featured Staff for the Month of May: Carol Sanborn, Freda Balch and Shannon Tipton, Passion Works Production Support-Staff from Atco, Inc.!

Passion Works is a division of Atco, Inc., the training and employment center for adults with disabilities. In many ways, Atco and Passion Works are one big team with the same goal of inspiring and liberating the human spirit through the arts. This month, we honor the inspiring work of Carol Sanborn, Freda Balch and Shannon Tipton. They are the production support-staff who help to extend the spirit of Passion Works beyond the studio walls! So many of the products we offer for sale in the Passion Works Store begin at Atco with the encouragement of our fabulous, production support staff! They help our artists with disabilities contribute to the creation of so many beautiful items. From decorating sheet-aluminum for Passion Flowers and pressing petals, to painting designs on paper for our beautiful single paper flowers and paper flower bouquets, to putting a blended basecoat on painted bird houses, or embellishing wooden ornaments – we can’t imagine getting by without the care and dedication of these talented professionals.
