Residency with Patty Mitchell

Passion Works is thrilled to have Patty Mitchell, creative founder of Passion Works, in the studio as an Ohio Arts Council Visiting Artist. Patty is leading a two week residency where original works of art are being combined with photos to create new pieces.

Midway through the residency, this is what Patty has to say – “It is great being back at Passion Works. Through this residency we have been working with photography – collaging old and new images. It has been so much fun seeing people respond to this process. The talent and enthusiasm here is amazing. The next step will be taking these images to The Aesthetic Technologies Lab at Ohio University and printing them 10 feet tall! We will print over the break and have the grand opening for the new Passion Works Gallery January 2010.”
